bows!
so i don’t even know if this is allowed but i guess to whoever is interested: i make and sell these handmade, clip-on bows that can be worn both as bowties or clipped into hair as hair clips! and i just put up a really floral, bright spring collection, and i take custom orders! and they’re only 5$ each! and they’re really good for the dapper-bowtie-button-up trend and, well, the...

How to beat the heat in hot weather!
Spring is already here, but if you’re like me and live in the southern US it can already feel like summer.
Which makes it all the more important to stay cool. Sure, we all know the basics: drink water, don’t stay out in sun too long, wear plenty of sun screen etc.—but that becomes all the harder when you’re trying to balance your personal style.
FAABS:
Besides wearing...

These two pictures prove I can easily change...

Anonymous asked: Suggestions for androgynous sandals/shoes for the summer?
I saw the scent post and I wanted to note that Victoria’s Secret PINK! with a Splash sounds like it would be the most feminine scent on the entire planet, but they have two that when, at least mixed with my personal scent, actually smell really nice and musky and gender neutral. perhaps others might have the same experience. my favorite is the one with the dark blue cap. a small bottle is...

Mix and matching scents! (That are pretty budget...
There are other queer style blogs that I personally follow that have done the whole finding the right scent/cologne. However, Androstyle is going to teach you can make your own androgynous one of kind scent that doesn’t have to put a dent in your piggy bank.
Yesterday afternoon I took a stroll in the outdoor shopping mall to answer that age old question. Can two opposing gender be mixed...

weirdly super over the “dapper butch/dapper queer/dapperness of any kind” look right now
just really done with trying to emulate a certain type of class-reflective status/old educated white dude aesthetic that feels really overdone and not true to where i’m at
i feel like in being a butch…
totally understand this POV and agree that a lot of quality...

My first post for Androstyle!
Hey everyone! Essick here, making my first debut on Androstyle as a contribuer!
For those of you just getting to know me, I’m a FAAB Androgyne (Androgyne is actually within the genderqueer umbrella). Oh and I’m not finicky about pronouns, but if you can, please use gender neutral pronouns when referring to me (They/zir)!
Ok, so enough about that messy stuff about pronouns...
I’ve left my gender open to artistic interpretation. It’s not like ‘Okay, today...
– Andrej Pejic (via wonder-and-fear)
doesntafraid asked: on ways to look more androgynous: one strategy is to mix overtly gendered clothing. In one outfit, wear some articles that people expect men to wear and some that people expect women to wear. examples: Painted nails and a loose tank top, or a suit and pink/floral patterns. Another way is to wear an entire outfit of unisex clothing that would be equally appropriate on a man or a woman (or other...
